VCHS SPORTS

The opportunity to participate in the athletic program within the Verde Christian High School is a privilege available to our students in 9th-12th grades.

Students choosing to participate are expected to conduct themselves at all times, during and between seasons, in a manner that will reflect honor to God, families, and VCHS. Sports at VCHS should build character, leadership, and confidence in students as well as instruct the basics of competitive involvement in each sport offered.

Men’s and Women’s Wrestling 

The wrestling program at Verde Christian High School is built on discipline, hard work, and character. Our athletes are committed to developing strength—physically, mentally, and spiritually—while competing with integrity and respect.

Through year-round training and dedicated coaching, our wrestlers grow not only as competitors but as leaders on campus and in the community. We emphasize teamwork, perseverance, and faith as the foundation of everything we do.

Whether on the mat or in the classroom, Verde Christian Wrestling strives for excellence and represents our school with pride.

Coed Cross Country  

Athletes come out and test their mental and physical reliance while competing in this challenging sport.  Cross Country Season August-October.

Men’s & Women’s Basketball

Coed Soccer 

Soccer is a fast-paced team sport where students build athletic skills, teamwork, and strategy while competing in organized matches. Soccer season is in the Spring.

Coed Tennis 

Tennis teaches players essential skills like coordination, strategy, and sportsmanship. Winter season November – January.

Women’s Volleyball

Volleyball is a dynamic team sport that teaches young athletes coordination, communication, and teamwork through competitive match play. Fall season August-October.
