VCA SPORTS
The opportunity to participate in the athletic program within the Verde Christian Academy is a privilege available to our students in 6th-8th grades. 5th Grade students may also participate based off of roster availability.
Students choosing to participate are expected to conduct themselves at all times, during and between seasons, in a manner that will reflect honor to God, families, and VCA. Sports at VCA should build character, leadership, and confidence in students as well as instruct the basics of competitive involvement in each sport offered.

Cross Country
Athletes come out and test their mental and physical reliance while competing in this challenging sport. Cross Country Season August-October.
Boy’s & Girl’s Basketball
Students develop fundamental skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while competing against peers in organized basketball games.
Coed Soccer
Soccer is a fast-paced team sport where students build athletic skills, teamwork, and strategy while competing in organized matches.
Boy’s Flag Football
Flag football teaches teamwork, strategy, and fundamental football skills in a fun, non-contact environment.
Girl’s Volleyball
Volleyball is a dynamic team sport that teaches young athletes coordination, communication, and teamwork through competitive match play.
