I am Ron Sams, I work as the Security Lead, Playground Supervisor, and Cross Country Coach.
I retired in 2022 from a 23 year career in federal public service. Upon retirement, I was Chief of Law Enforcement & Emergency Services for the National Park Service.
Some of the positions I held during my career were field training officer, wildland and structural firefighter, search and rescue coordinator, emergency medical technician, and law enforcement instructor.
My wife Melissa and I are proud parents of a VCA 8th grader.
Helping our children walk in Christ has been more rewarding than anything else I have accomplished.
The team here at VCA/VCHS are united in a biblical direction and I am grateful to be a member.
